This is the year to start an Academic Pentathlon (middle school) or Decathlon (high school) team! Great annual theme, $49,000 in annual scholarships, coach support and resources, FREE curriculum to new teams and the program can be taught as a class or an after-school program! After several years without a state competition, more than 125 high school students took over portions of the UAA Campus in March! Event Highlights: A visit from Representative Peltola during the award ceremony, awarding $49,000 in scholarships between the Decathlon ($37,000) and Pentathlon ($12,000), an opening ceremony that included representatives from several Alaskan colleges, a highly attended Super Quiz event …

This year we have more teams, more students, more scholarships and new sponsors! Our competition season starts in January with our high school state scrimmage for 175+ students. Sign up to volunteer today!
